Newcastle Airport's first ever 'retro jet' visited in daylight for the first time this afternoon, KLM's Boeing 737-800 PH-BXA having first visited in this livery on the night-stopping Amsterdam rotataion on Friday 16th January. Following other European carriers to paint a single aircraft in a past livery (Lufthansa, SAS, Iberia, Finnair, Air France etc.), KLM's marks their 90th anniversary year with a livery from the late '50s/early '60s once worn by types such as the Electra and DC-8 !.
