Photographic News from Today !
Sunday 27th March 2011

Highlight of the new scheduled service timetable which began today is the first long-term programmed use of KLM CityHopper Embraer 190s on the Amsterdam schedule, the machines being planned to operate the afternoon KLM29W/30W rotation and also the 'night-stopper' on each day of the week. PH-EZB is seen here arriving on this afternoon's flight, one of two aircraft that had appeared when nine rotations were programmed to be flown by the type soon after its introduction into the CityHopper fleet during December 2008/January 2009, 'ZB' having visited twice during this period. Nine of the current fleet of seventeen aeroplanes have since appeared at Newcastle Airport .... and thanks for the wave Captain!
