Making its second appearance of the summer season so far this evening was Trawel Fly Boeing 737-400 EI-ETT, the aircraft positioning in from Cardiff to operate another charter departure to Bergamo, similar 'short-series' flights as those to Verona operated in previous years by Tor Air, Viking Airlines etc. Trawel Fly is a Bergamo-based 'virtual airline' (a seat seller whose flights are operated under wet-lease contracts with other airlines), both of 'its' aircraft appearing during May, the other involving the all-white Medallion Air Douglas MD.83 YR-HBD. The 737 had previously visited Newcastle Airport just once, on a NUFC charter as OO-TUI of TUI Airlines Belgium on 22nd October 2004.
