Another little bit of airport history; never before have we seen first-visits-of-type from more than one airliner type on the same day - the closest we have been to this feat in our past were our first looks at the Boeing 767-300 and ATR.42 two days apart in October 1991 and the RJ.85 and Dornier 328 during the same timeframe in October 1996. First off this morning was the first visit of a CRJ.1000 courtesy of a sub-charter on the Vueling Barcelona scheduled service, flown by Air Nostrum/Iberia Regional's EC-LJR, followed during the late afternoon by a crew training visit from CityJet's first Sukhoi Superjet EI-FWA.
