Today at Newcastle Airport
Sunday 11th January 2004 - By Andy Hutchings

A pair of not too familiar airline types in the KLM colour-scheme were present together on the apron this morning, both of which had visited Newcastle on one prior occasion each. Boeing 737-300 PH-BDO flew another Amsterdam scheduled service substitution, as it had done during December 2003, while KLM Exel ATR.42 PH-XLK had arrived yesterday evening on a sport's team charter flight. It had visited previously on a Sunderland FC charter on 18th July 2001.
