Today at Newcastle Airport
Sunday 31st October 2004 - By Andy Hutchings

The winter scheduled service timetable started today with the usual changes in aircraft types used, and new operators/routes. No fewer than three brand new routes begin today, easyJet introducing their new Rome-Ciampino service this morning, flown by Boeing 737-700 G-EZJN, seen here returning after the first rotation, as well as a Budapest service starting this afternoon, while FlyBe began their new Exeter schedule this morning, flown by DHC.8-400 G-JEDT. One type change evident this morning concerned Wideroe who revert to a DHC.8-400 operation on Sundays for this winter.
