Back again for my second full morning on the mound, and it was immediately heart-warming to see that the domestic fleets had indeed changed around sufficiently to make it truly worthwile - by now I was only looking for a trio of Virgin Blue 737-800s and two of these were seen during the morning. QANTAS A.330-300s were even scarcer this morning, although thankfully the last of the Jetstar -200s pitched up.

Things then took a serious turn on the Friday afternoon, something I had eaten on the Thursday knocking me down completely, and I spent our last 2 days in Sydney not able to move from the bed apart from for the obvious - a bit of a shame as I had been granted an additional, shorter, spotting 'pass' on the Saturday morning whilst more shopping was scheduled. I wasn't too bothered though as I really thought I had 'done the domestics to death' - just a few days here would appear to be the required for the majority of it.

Somehow I got up, packed, checked-out, drove down to the airport and checked-in for our Virgin Blue flight to the final part of our honeymoon early on the Sunday morning, the suddenly not insubstantial matter of sitting on an aeroplane for up to 5 hours en-route to Perth. A very pleasant Virgin Blue experience it was though - I have never seen as much room between the seats on any short-haul carrier, never mind a 'no frills'. I managed to get a few more significant numbers before departure however, including another Air Force Challenger on a GA drive-by that I just managed !.
